This new location is a huge step forward — it’s more convenient for future clients and students, has a real water hookup for shampoo bowls, proper signage for visibility, and all the essentials we’ve needed to keep expanding. It’s more than a move — it’s an investment in the future of healthy hair care, education, and community.

 

I’ve also made the decision to transition into cosmetology school because I want to be more than a braider. I want to truly care for the hair I touch — to treat it before braiding it — and to mentor the next generation of Braiddown Specialists so they can carry this mission forward.

 

This will be my fourth and final move for a long time, and I’m raising $5,000 to help cover relocation costs, salon setup, and school transition expenses.
